LaVille Jr-Sr High School has changed our attendance policy for in person students. They will not be able to switch back and forth on a daily basis. If an in person student is absent they will be marked accordingly.
ATTENDANCE FOR IN PERSON
Virtual learning will no longer be a day to day option for in person students, if not directly COVID related such as having to be quarantined due to being a close contact or positive test. If your student is absent for illness, vacation, etc. their absence will be marked accordingly. If the LaVIlle Jr-Sr High School main office does not receive a call or email from a parent explaining why their child is absent from school, it will be an unexcused absence. This does not affect full time virtual students.
With this being said, teachers have been asked to take attendance at the beginning of each class period. Teachers only have to take attendance for in person students. Teachers will not have to mark a student's attendance if they are present in class or if they are virtual.
