LaVille Jr-Sr High School April News

Attendance for in person - Virtual learning will no longer be a day to day option for in person students, if not directly COVID related such as having to be quarantined due to being a close contact or positive test.  If your student is absent for illness, vacation, etc. their absence will be marked accordingly. If we don't receive a call or email from a parent explaining why their child is absent from school, it will be an unexcused absence. This does not affect full time virtual students.


eLearning Scheduled Days -  April 12, April 26, May 10, and May 17.


Success Hour - Any student in grades 7-9 or 10-12 needing extra help after school can attend success hour! This is an hour long session students can use for a quiet place to work on homework or for students needing teacher assistance. Limited transportation drop-off locations are available.


Prom 2021 - Juniors and Seniors are cordially invited to this year's prom, which will be held on Saturday, May 8 at Christos Banquet Center in Plymouth from 8-11 PM.  Tickets are $25/person and will go on sale Thursday, April 8th before school in the concession stand.  Guest forms can be found in the main office or you can pick one up when you purchase tickets.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Czarnecki or Mrs. Kayser.


Senior Cap and Gown Distribution - Josten's will be here on Friday, April 30, 2021 to distribute caps, gowns, invitations, etc. during the lunch period, they will be located at the concession stand.

Bowling Camp - LaVille Bowling Camp is for any boy or girl in grades 5 through 11 are eligible to participate. The camp is at Parkway Lanes, Mishawaka, IN. On Saturday, May 22, 2021 and Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. with check-in at 12:30 p.m. Drop off and pick up will be at Parkway Lanes. Registration fee is $40.00 (forty dollars) this includes a t-shirt, shoes, and lane time. Please make checks payable to: LaVille High School Bowling.


LaVille Middle School Soccer - Coming Fall 2021 -

If you will be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade fall of 2021 we would like to present the opportunity to play in our Jr. High fall soccer league. All interested boys and girls in these grades are encouraged to contact us. We have been working on a fall schedule with about 10 area teams.


Kindergarten Round Up - LaVille's Kindergarten Round Up for 2021 22 school year is March 9 from 3:30 - 6:30 and May 27 from 9:00 - 3:00, please call 784-2311 to schedule a 20 minute appointment, along with your future kindergarten student, please bring their birth certificate and immunization records.


Current 7th Graders - Attention class of 2026! We are in the process of planning a trip to Washington D.C. for your eighth grade trip. There will be a video sent to you by email, and an upcoming parent meeting about the trip. Be on the lookout for the video and the date of the parent meeting!  The trip is being led by Mr. Williams and Mr. Walter so if you have any questions go talk to them or send them an email. 


Booster Club Scholarship Application - Deadline is April 28. Please see Ms. Thompson for an application.

Absences - If your student is not feeling well, please keep them home. We ask you to call the office at 574-784-3151.
