Consent Vote

-A member of the Board may request any item be removed from the consent items and voted on separately.

  

Consent Item #1. Meeting Minutes:  December 14, 2020 Regular Meeting Minutes and claim numbers 11528-11671 totaling $2,381,048.49 as presented. 

 

Consent Item #2.  Personnel:  

I have accepted the retirement of Michelle Cox, English Teacher at the Jr. Sr. High School. 

I have accepted the resignation of Alexa Cameron as an Elementary teacher.   

Shay Hanyzewski will move from Title I to the vacated Kindergarten class for the remainder of the year.  She will go from part time to full time as she did to cover the maternity leave in the first semester.  Shay's new daily rate will be $304.71 per day x the remaining 92 days this year = $28,033.32.  This brings her new contracted annual salary to $47,841.29.  As of 12/31/2020, she has been paid $15,320.79, which leaves $32,520.50 to be divided over the remaining 16 pays for the 20-21 contract.

 

Consent Item #3.  Surplus Items: 

Lori Kiefer has created a list of 113 books she would like to purge from the Elementary library. 

Zac Moore would like to declare the old Elementary scoreboards to be sold at Ted’s auction.

 

Consent Item #4.  Donations:

Heather King has donated clothing to the Elementary school at a value of approximately $100.

Mr. James Adams, the owner of Parkway Lanes donated a Storm Bowling ball with wish being that we use it as a donation for a fundraiser.  The bowling ball is valued at $180.00.  Mr. Travis Ruthruff of T's X-Factor Pro Shop at Parkway donated a gift certificate for the drilling and finger inserts of the bowling ball with that value being $60.00.  This brings the total value of the donation to $240.00. 

 

Consent Items #5.  Federal Mileage Rate:

The Federal mileage rate will be using to reimburse staff for mileage has gone from $.575 per mile to $.56 per mile.

 

Consent Items #6.  2017 Bond Items:  

Ideal Consolidated to fix the boiler at the Jr. Sr. High at $8500

Pemberton Davis to remove a server from Wayne Thomas’s room to one of the rooms adjacent to the library at $8000.

This leaves $942 in the 17 bond.
