Section One:  Delivery of Learning 

Describe how you will deliver continuous learning opportunities for all students, including special student populations.

We will be using eLearning for all students.  Our Special Education students with exceptional needs will be receiving packets of information to complete.  Kindergarten and 1st grade will be doing a combination of packets and eLearning. Students without internet access are given packets.



 

Describe how your district communicates expectations for continuous learning implementation to 1. ) students, 2.) families, and 3.) staff. 

We have used facebook, instagram, twitter, and our website  to share information to all. Mass communication is done through our student information system.  Teachers connect with students using canvas and or Google classroom about assignments. Teachers and principals are available by email.




 

Describe student access to academic instruction, resources, and supports during continuous learning.

Each student, other than the exceptional needs, has a computer assigned to them for eLearning.  Each teacher is available to answer questions and support students. We place six buses in targeted areas to create hotspots for internet access.  We have a few students who still cannot access the internet who we take packets to.



 

What equipment and tools are available to staff and students to enable your continuous learning plan? Please list. 

We have used the following:  Kajeet for hotspots on the buses, Canvas, Google Classroom, Chromebooks , iPads, School Messenger used to communicate to the masses



 

Describe how educators and support staff are expected to connect with students and families on an ongoing basis. 

We have had teachers use a variety of platforms including but not limited to Google meet, Zoom, Teacher email, Canvas and Google classroom.



 

Describe your method for providing timely and meaningful academic feedback to students.

Teachers grade assignments and post scores on Powerschool and Canvas.  Teachers have also done meetings with students to give them immediate feedback.  Principals and teachers communicate with students who are not keeping up with assignments.

 

Teachers check in as needed with students using google hangout,  zoom or exchange emails and or phone calls when a problem needs to be addressed.


 

 

Section Two:  Achievement and Attendance  

Does your continuous learning plan provide an avenue for students to earn high school credits? If so, describe the approach.

Students will be given the higher of the 3rd nine weeks or the 4th nine weeks grade to count as their second semester grade.  If the student earns a passing grade, then they will receive credit for that class.


 

 

Describe your attendance policy for continuous learning. 

Each student has to log in between 9 and 3 and click on the attendance button.  If the student cannot get access to the internet, then they are to call in to their school.  Principals call students who do not login each day.



 

Describe your long-term goals to address skill gaps for the remainder of the school year. 

Principals will collaborate with staff to discuss future calendaring of skills for the fall.



 

Section Three:  Staff Development 

Describe your professional development plan for continuous learning. 

Principals and our Director of Curriculum are available to work with staff with any questions during the rest of the year.  Principals have been able to meet with staff via Zoom to give directions. The guidance department has sent webinar information on social emotional issues.
